Each shape is one small area (a 2021 Lower layer Super Output Area). Select one to see its decile, rank and the ward it mostly falls in (the ONS best-fit ward). Scores in England compare areas within England only: England and Wales use different indices, so their deciles can't be compared with each other.
How Fenland's neighbourhoods spread across the deciles
Decile 1 is the most deprived tenth of areas in England and decile 10 the least deprived.

How to read this map
- Deprivation describes an area's circumstances (income, jobs, health, education, crime, housing and living environment) relative to every other area in England. It says nothing about any one home or the people in it.
- A rank compares 33,755 areas: 1 is the most deprived. Deciles split that ranking into ten equal groups.
- The index measures relative deprivation. A decile 10 area still has some deprivation, and an area can move decile between editions because other areas changed around it.
- A property report on Address Lens shows the separate domains (seven in England, eight in Wales) for the area around a specific address.
